Our last conference took place in Warsaw, Poland on May 21-22, 2026.
Thank you to everyone who made it unforgettable!

On May 21–22, 2026, the international conference titled 2026 Regional IAMD Coalitions Conference was held for the third time in Warsaw. Experts and representatives of NATO member states discussed the development of air and missile defense systems. They also addressed the importance of international cooperation in the face of contemporary threats. A key outcome of the event was the signing of a letter of intent to establish the Air and Missile Defense Center of Excellence at the Military University of Technology (WAT). It was attended by command staff representatives, air defense personnel from NATO countries, and defense industry representatives from Poland, Europe, and the United States. A delegation from the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Korea also participated in the event.
The agenda covered two main thematic areas: industrial and academic. The industrial segment was dedicated to capability building within the defense sector, with a particular focus on military equipment lifecycle management—from the conceptual stage to operational use. Expert panels discussed issues including: defense system effectiveness analysis, advanced modeling,
strategic conditions of defense on NATO’s eastern flank, the utilization of space technologies in early warning systems.
Letter of Intent
A significant milestone of the conference was the signing of a letter of intent regarding the establishment of the Air and Missile Defense Center of Excellence (CEOPL) at the Faculty of Mechatronics, Armament and Aviation of WAT.
The document was signed by Brig. Gen. Prof. Dr. Hab. Eng. Przemysław Wachulak – Rector-Commander of WAT, and Brig. Gen. Dr. Eng. Michał Marciniak – Deputy Head of the Armament Agency and Plenipotentiary of the Minister of National Defense for the Development of the Integrated Air and Missile Defense System. The Air and Missile Defense Center of Excellence will be equipped with specialized laboratories, advanced training systems, and simulators. According to the objectives, it will support the implementation process of air defense systems such as WISŁA, NAREW, and PILICA+, as well as the skill development of future officers and non-commissioned officers (NCOs) of the Air Defense Forces in line with the needs of the Polish Armed Forces. Furthermore, the Center will serve as a hub for research and development (R&D) projects and implementation work in the fields of missile technology, radio-control systems, coordinate determination technologies, simulators, and air defense combat management support systems.
