On Wednesday and Thursday, May 9–10, 2024, an international conference dedicated to integrated air and missile defense was held at the Military University of Technology in Warsaw. The event was organized by the Armament Agency, the Jarosław Dąbrowski Military University of Technology, and the Missile Defense Advocacy Alliance – a non-profit organization focused on promoting the development of air and missile defense systems worldwide. A side event of the conference was the presentation of the European Missile Defender of the Year awards by the Missile Defense Advocacy Alliance (MDAA) to soldiers, officers, and civilian defense personnel who, over the past year, have made significant contributions to the development and operation of air and missile defense—both in peacetime and in the ongoing war on Ukrainian territory.
